Last week in school we celebrated book week and the stories written by Roald Dahl. In year 3 we concentrated on the story of 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory'. We wrote fact files about Roald Dahl, diary entries about the day Charlie Bucket found his golden ticket, designed and described our very own chocolate bars in the style of Willy Wonka using some super adjectives, took a journey down the chocolate river and finally wrote book reviews.

As part of book week had a dress up day where we came as our favourite book characters. In year 3 we had Mr Willy Wonka, Charlie Bucket, Alice in Wonderland and our very Own Harry Potter alongside many more. We also teamed up with the children in year 2 to share some of our favourite bedtime stories. We got changed into our PJ's, brought our favourite teddy bears along and shared some stories. A super week in school.
