Dinosaur rumblings in Year 1

By Emily Martin, 29 September 2015 – 0 comment
A good place for Max's T-Rex to live!

What an exciting start to the week we have had in Year 1! As part of our dinosaur topic we have been loving reading Tyrannosaurus Drip. We are having a go at making our own dinosaur settings for a story and today gathered some natural materials and collaged our dinosaur settings. Kian said: “We made a picture of where our dinosaur might live. I liked sticking the twigs and leaves to my diplodocus background.” Aoife said: “We collaged our dinosaur pictures because we are learning about dinosaurs. We used leaves, grass and twigs to make our story settings.”

Also we have recently put up our new drainpipes for our outside area. They have been a huge success with children enjoying putting cars and water down them.

Stay tuned for more weekly updates.
