Netball Festival

On a cold and wet Friday afternoon, we participated in the Kendal schools' netball competition at Heron Hill. All the children were a credit to the school and performed magnificently, winning one game, drawing one game and losing two. Well done to Isla, Sam, Darci, Nikola, Cassie, Alfie and Willow for taking part.

KCP Girls' Football Festival

Key Stage 2 children from Dean Gibson represented the school at the KCP girls' football festival at Vicarage Park School on Monday afternoon. The children performed admirably on a bitterly cold day. The year 3&4 team won two games and lost one, which enabled them to qualify for the final. In the final, the team narrowly lost out 1-0 to Vicarage Park School. The year 5 team won two and drew three games, while the year 6 team won all their group games, helping them to qualify for the final. In the final, the year 6 girls drew the match. Well done to all the girls who were involved! A special thank you to Mrs Musone, Mrs Corbett, Mr Burnett, Ms Davidson and Mr Rairata for helping on the day.
