"Keep up to date with our children's green-fingered activities"

21 January 2019

Just before Christmas everyone recieved instructions on how to reduce the amount of plastic they put into their bins through creating ecobricks.  This is where plastic bottles are filled with squishy plastic to make them as solid as bricks.  Everyday bricks have been arriving in school so thank you to everyone for their efforts.  On Wednesday morning there will be an assembly in school to not only demonstrate how to make them but to also explain how we will be using them in school.

WW1 Heritage Garden

This term we are going to create a WW1 heritage garden by growing vegetables which would have been grown 100 years ago as part of the 'Dig for Victory' campaign.  Year Two have made a start by planting seed potatoes outside and runner beans and peas inside.
